i'm a little bit inactive in AFF...

and i think everyone in my friend list notices that. hahas.

i usually post one or two blog posts a day in AFF, but these days.. i never post them. i'm tired of AFF, to be honest. i log in to AFF everyday only to see if there are any news/something big. and i've been kind of neglecting my ongoing fics there. which is sad.

it's not that i'm having a writer block, but it's just i'm not so into AFF anymore now. i'm online in livejournal and twitter like almost every minute, but it's not the same case for AFF.

there several reasons why i (probably) abandon my AFF account:

i think this is very common. every time i checked the latest updated fics, there are only those dreadful 'you' stories which i really can't put my finger onto. i mean, it just feels awkward for me when i read a fic in second point of view. i'll give you an example.

You then grabbed his wrist for the umpteenth time that day. You thought it wasn't enough, you wanted to tell him more. He faced you with annoyed look as he said, "What do you want, ~~~~~~~~?" "I'm not finished yet, (insert idol name here). You should listen to me first!"

"Well I think everything is finished. Sorry, ~~~~~~~~." He said. You lowered your head as you felt tears well up in your eyes. You didn't want him to see you cry, at all. "This is the last time I tell you, (insert idol name here)."

He sighed and gave in, "Say it, then."

"I love you, (insert idol name here)."

isn't that just awkward? i mean, 'you did this', 'you did that'... no, i didn't. and those squiggly thing... god, i can't. i'll just save rants for this topic later (in other post).

which is sucks. i mean, there are a lot of masterpiece stories in AFF that are underrated (lack of readers). and by communities, they could submit and share their stories to fellow writers in the same fandoms and then, viola~ those stories will become a success.

communities could help, very much, as long as that application isn't misused.

it's so sad to feature stories that are having no potency. i think doing some poll  each month could help. like, the mod of aff (a.k.a nichi) make a very big poll to vote the stories with the subscriber range around 100+ and then the users theirselves will vote for the best story(es) that are featured-worthy.

there are many reasons but i won't type it down all because they're too long. one of the reasons is that i'm almost an outcast in aff.

ahh, i'm satisfied now after writing all of this. see you next time! ♥

fic rec; kaisoo - arbitrage

arbitrage | I | II | III |

exo // kai/kyungsoo (tiny sehun/lu han/kai) // nc-17 // 22,000 words
[street race AU... or is it.] There are three tracks to Do Kyungsoo's life. Track A, trader at an investment bank. Track B, new recruit of a race crew called EXO. Track C... track C involves someone named Kai and a whole lot of bad decisions.

a little review for arbitrage; even though i know the author doesn't ask me to review her story.

this story is beautiful, well-thought and very organized. i mean, it's just really understandable (yeah, for me) and this post is more like a fanfic recommendation. i really love this story; it's realistic and makes sense. i even gave the author some courage and love comments to continue writing this kind of stories. now i'm obsessed over a story that isn't even a published book sobs.

be aware, though, if you want to read this story. because (i think it's just me and some other exotics) after reading this high-quality fic, your standards of reading fanfiction will go very, very... high. because it's just beautiful i can't. ; u ; too many feelings.

maybe the first time you read this fic you'll go all 'what just happened?' because of the time traveling AU, but when you re-read it then you'll fully understand.  i like it and i fully understand the story because i am one hell of a car-maniac just love street race AU and planning to be one of those cool racer in the future.

there are some minor mistakes like the misusing of 'your' and 'you're' but they don't really ruin the perfection this writer made for the story. and i love it when writers use present tense for their story lol idek why.

it's very original; considering the writer got her inspiration from the books rant by chuck palahniuk, players by don deLillo, and the movie primer by shane carruth. it's like... three kinds of epicness blended into one, creating an epic perfection. i don't know how to say it; it's just too wonderful. go read it to find out, i'm not going to spoil anything except this story is so sad. OH MY KYUNGSOO. SOBS. be prepared to be sent into a crying mess.

see you all. ^^
